LIVE PROJECT PLANNING
The carefully ENGINEERED approach to the modification of almost any
"PRESSURIZED" system (pipe tanks, pressure vessels, etc.) while they
remain in service, under pressure, and if need be, under flowing
conditions. By using the time proven mechanical method of "HOT
TAPPING" we are able to provide branch connections to an existing
In sizes 3/4 inch up to and including 12 inch outlet.
Both size-on-size outlets and reduced size outlets.
Pressures form vacuum to 1,480 PSIG as off the shelf
standard. Temperatures to 700 degrees F as standard.
These methods are applicable to almost any type of pipe
system including: carbon steels, alloy steels, cast iron,
and ductile iron. The process can be used on pressure
vessels and tanks as well.
The HOT TAP method is also used as part of our PIPE PLUGGING PROCESS to gain access into pressurized systems and permits the installation of in-line valves, the replacement of valves, the relocation of piping, the repair of piping, or any other modifications that may be needed while the system remains in service.
